SONYA JENSEN Sonya Jensen, LMFT-S Certified Gottman Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), Sonya has extensive post-graduate training in working with couples and their families. She loves bringing the specializations from the Gottman Method, Sex Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Trauma Treatment to help couples rebuild and thrive. Her authored works include Theory and Treatment Planning in Counseling and Psychotherapy, Mastering Competencies in Family Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance in Couple and Family Therapy, and Mindfulness for Chocolate Lovers: A Lighthearted Way to Stress Less and Savor More Each Day. She has edited two volumes on Collaborative-Dialogic Practices: Relationships and Conversations that Make a Difference Across Cultures and Contexts with Harlene Anderson.
